Changing The Game By: Starting a website, Deadline Hollywood Daily, that’s become THE go-to source for the entertainment industry. Tripling her traffic during the writers' strike. Breaking more show business news than any other reporter. Finke has Hollywood executives hitting refresh 20 times a day to find out if they are the next to be fired. Operating as a one-woman show with a basic website design, she built a blog that made establishment outlets like The Hollywood Reporter and Variety look like geezers. Notoriously private, Finke sold her site to Jay Penske's mail.com this year for millions while staying on as writer and editor -- proving that, even in these hard times, there is still serious money to be made on the Web.
